Q: Are your bars really Gluten Free?
A: Yes, they really are. Originally we used Wheat Germ in them, which contained Gluten, a composite of the proteins gliadin and glutenin. We decided to change from Wheat Germ to Buckwheat Groats to remove the Gluten to make our bars more nutritionally sound for Celiac’s and Gluten Intolerant individuals as well as the rest of us. Each flavor is 100% free from Gluten!

Q: What does JEN stand for?
A: Just Energy Nutrients. We don't put anything else in our bars, like additives, preservatives, enhancers, etc.

Q: Do they keep well?
A: Refrigerated, they will last for up to 6 months, longer if frozen. Since we don't have any preservatives or artificial ingredients in them, we recommend they stay refrigerated or frozen until you need them. Once you take them out of the freezer, they should stay solid for the next hour or so depending on ambient temperatures.

A: Yes, we have individual bars sealed in a FDA approved plastic wrap.

Q: Can you ship the bars?
A: Yes, we ship our bars in insulated coolers anywhere in the continental U.S.

Q: What percent of the Bars are organic?
A: Currently 72% of the bars ingredients are organic, but we are working on the other 28%. We hope to have a 100% organic bar by the end of the year.
